Unifork – Award Winning Composting and Mulch Fork

Union Jack Stable & Garden

Americans have looked to the English for excellence in garden tools for years. Now there is a fresh import with a twist on the tried-and-true that is a must-have for gardeners everywhere—the Unifork. Manufactured in Sheffield England by Harold Moore Ltd.—makers of quality tools since 1913—the Unifork is made from high-grade polypropylene using exacting English standards.

The Unifork combines the scooping action of a shovel with the permeation of a fork. And, because it is lighter weight than either of those tools, it is more efficient and makes easy work of turning compost; moving mulch, straw or other bulk material; and even removing autumn leaves from garden beds. Its unique shape allows it to hold a lot of material. The tines—star shaped in profile—are tapered along their length and effectively act as a wedge into the material, gathering it into the curved rear of the blade.

Unlike a metal pitchfork, the Unifork is safe around children, animals, and even the careless gardener who may leave it lying on the ground. Yet it’s easy to spot; you can choose from four fun colors: fiery red, hot pink, baby blue, and country green.

Extremely rugged, you can run over the Unifork with a truck and it will bounce back—and not gouge the tires. Strong and durable, it won’t rust, rot, or corrode. An added bonus, since it’s not metal, it’s warm to the touch, even on the coldest day when you dread gardening chores.

Try a Unifork now. Not only will it save your back, the vibrant colors will make any task seem more fun.

The Unifork weighs just under 3 lbs and is about 45 inches in length.
