VIDEO # 9-GROWING LETTUCE-INDOORS-COMPOST TEAS ORGANIC FERTILIZER

Growing lettuce in baggies is very successful. Our elementary school grew over 500 heads of lettuce in baggies with this method. And these children supplimented the cafeteria’s menu with organic lettuce, they grew themselves.

This video contains;
1)How to Grow Lettuce indoors

2)How to Make Compost Tea-Organic Fertilizer

The success to growing healthy vegetables is the nutrients inside of the dirt and water. On our farm we made 5 gallon buckets of compost tea to fertilize our vegetable gardens. There is nothing to buy to make your own fertilizer, just utilize your kitchen vegetable scraps. NOTE: Do not make compost tea from cabbage,onions,fruit or meat. These attract bugs and flies. Also garlic is not used, because the garlic oil is aborbed into the plants you are growing, and they will have a taste of garlic.
