my worm farm is infested with little white worms?

i have tried using a piece of bread and adding more lime nothing is working they are just multiplying while i know that are harmless but they dont produce vermicast and just eat food the "good worms " should be having any ideas appreciated
it is in a proper worm farm called can o worms correctly covered etc these are not fly larvae / maggots but a very small thin white worm

You are going to have to replace the soil. Its too badly contaminated to get rid of the problem. If you tried a chemical you would just hurt the worms.

Its easy enough to replace the soil. Check the worms over well before putting into the new clean environment. Denise http://www.thegardenersrake.com

It sounds like a fly got into your worm farm and laid eggs, hence maggots maybe? Ummm…I'd probably start over and try to keep flies away with mesh netting.

I have raised worms for my composting containers and for my garden areas. I also donate some to the nephews for fishing.
